Finally the ankle is fully healed...so I did some photoshooting with my workmate...
He did a great job on those pics, and now some of them are online in the gallery section!

Last month I ruptured one of the ligaments in my right ankle, so I had a little time off the bike..
Some friends of mine and I used this opportunity to rebuild our dirtpark focusing on the contest that will take place there in late august... It became pretty big, and as soon as the whole thing is shaped and dialed-in I'll put some pics and the exact date of the contest on here!

Hello!
I just got back from Italy today, so here's just a short report on what was going on there before a I fall into a coma!
I started out to Italy right after work, and after a deadly boring 8 hours trip I finally arrived in Riva del Garda at 4 am in the morning...
After that I took a 4 hours nap on my car's backseat (alone unfortunately... ;-) )... As I woke up, the first thing I did was checking out the area arround the lake. Everything was sooo nice there, all trees seemed so much greener, the lake was so clear...so much nicer than old grey-in-grey vienna! I had some great hours there relaxing, enjoying some italian ice-cream (the best there is) and enjoying the sunshine at the cristal clear lake!

After that I checked out the dirts...there where the ramps I knew from the Eurobike contest with some super-smooth landings..
So I was sure it would be a good contest, and when I heard that Timo Pritzl would ride too the joy was perfect...it was the first time for me to ride with this legend!!

This motivated me a lot and so I was bouncing out even some new tricks...I don't know my ranking yet (they only announced the 3 best, the whole ranking should be online by tuseday...) but I think I should be 5th-7th, something like that...so I'm pretty happy with it! I will update this entry as soon as I got the final rankings...

EDIT: Ranking is in, it's been the 5th place for me, that means I got a wildcard for the Eurobike contest!! JIEHAW!! :-)

Just got time for a few lines! Last weekend the Freestlye games took place in Brno /Czech Republic, so Fabian, Adam and I were heading out to the Contest!
As we arrived there, there already was a huge crowd of riders in the Rondo Hall riding the course (ok it was more a single jump than a course...but who cares as long as it's fun to ride..). All of us had a huge hangover from the night before so we were a little unconfident upon the whole thing...but in the end we had a great day and there where a lot of nice girls too, so we couldn't ask for more...
But there was more... :) although we'd never thought we would made it to the finals, Adam and I did ending up 8th (Adam) and 11th (me)...I hope I can present a video of the contest edited by Fabian here soon!

Gotta go to the King of Dirt in Riva del Garda / Italy now, so check soon for updates! Cheers!

The VAK is over and I finally found some time to update my site again...
I had a great weekend on this contest in my hometown, the weather was great (acutally it was the first Vienna Bike Festival without rain), the dirts were super nice and big and there where a huge number of riders (about 60) from a lot of different countries!

On the first training on friday I had a pretty hard crash right on the first big double at the first try...I came a little nosedive and short and finnaly banged my head really hard into the flat... so the trainign was over for me (I just was too dizzy to ride on...), and I wasn't even sure if I would ride the contest...but thanks to my riding buddy Christoph Wagner, who motivated me to ride on, I decided to go on with the contest with a little headache...
I had some pretty good runs in the qualifying then, but my head was aching so hard, that I left the contest to go home for a nap...right as I woke up, my phone rang and a friend of mine told me that I qualifyed as best austrian rider on 7th...first I was thinking that he was joking..but as some more people gave me their props, I was starting to have a big smile for the whole day... :)

At the end I finnished 13th and was so happy to be in the finals that I'm smiling until now!! :) Here's a little video of the final day with the best trick contest... -Vienna Airking 2008-

Hey everyone, and welcome to the latest version of my promo-page.
There are some new things like an embeded picture gallery and also I made a new layout...
What else is new? Yeah I'm back from Leogang where the 3rd annual Whitestyle contest took place. I had a great weekend there, staying with Chrissi and Fabian. The course was totaly great, but very insane. The jumps where at least twice the size of last year. So I had my fun in training. But as it came to the qualification, I cased a little at the second jump and hurt my old torn ligaments in my left foot, so I wasn't event able to walk the days after the contest. Winner was Trond Hansen with an amazing run, showing frontflips, 360° etc.. Sick style!
So, I had no ranking but a great weekend and some nice shots. Was totaly worth it :-)!
